LEGOLAND Discovery Centre hunt for children for their Junior Construction Panel

The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is looking for local children to join their Junior Construction Panel.

To keep the centre family focused, five children are needed to help with building LEGO models and give their approval to model designs and what other features might be needed at the venue.

To be in with a chance of being on the panel, keen LEGO builders must apply online with a photo and details of a LEGO model they have built themselves and explaining why they have the talent to be chosen to join the panel,

Entries will be judged by 12 March 2010, leaving just a week to get building.

General Manager of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Neil Crittenden said: “Who better to advise and judge the Centre than the children who are going to be visiting and who are most knowledgeable about LEGO?  We are hoping to find those who are most passionate about building and have a talent for creating new and innovative models.

“Everyone who enters the competition will get a free ticket for the Centre so all LEGO fans will be rewarded while the very best will receive an Unlimited Pass, granting them free visits to the Discovery Centre for a whole year, as well as the unique position on the Junior Construction Panel.”
