LIDL Broadmead Bristol Taking Shape – Every LIDL Helps
Giving off strong dystopian soft play vibes this afternoon, supermarket LIDL is one step closer to opening next month.
Looking like a boss in the afternoon sun, the budget supermarket’s logo is now gently mocking the pricier contenders of Tiny Tesco and Quiet Sainsbury’s just across the road.

Central Bristol residents are eagerly looking forward to the store’s opening, as a more budget friendly alternative to what’s currently on offer.
The building was originally part of the Odeon cinema. In later years it became the Mothercare with the cool tube slide that went from top to ground floor. Prior to being snapped up by LIDL, the building was home to fashion chain H&M.
