Simple Glow Jar Sensory Activity

Glow jars are really simple things to make but look very effective at night. We made a glow jar, sometimes called a fairy jar, like this:

Ingredients
One glass jar with secure lid
Water
Transparent waterbeads
Small glow toy
Neon glow stick
Neon paint

Method
Add water to the glass jar
Mix in some neon paint
Add half waterbeads to water
Insert a small glow toy
Secure lid
Clip a glow stick around the lid
Charge with light
You can get added exploration from a UV torch
