Mums too busy on net to watch daytime TV

Social networking has a lot to answer for with research revealing that one in four mothers spend more time on the internet than chatting than with their children.

According to MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, 21 per cent of mothers are too busy surfing the internet to play with their child.

The popularity of online gaming and chatting with mates has overtaken the horrors of daytime television with 49 per cent too busy on the computer to watch Jeremy Kyle.

Mums on average spend two and a half hours online everyday, with some managing to clock up a whopping five hours a day through the week.
