After their eight-month-old baby Jackson, developed severe eczema, ditching the standard chemical filled wipes and reverting back to cotton wool and water made no difference to his condition.
Frustrated that the chlorine content of tap water on his delicate skin was merely exacerbating the problem, they put their heads together to come up with the herbal wipes.
As well making sure all the nasties plaguing most wet wipes were removed, the couple also eliminated harsh chemicals found in water by only using water purified to a high standard.
Using a vegetable based preservative system, the wipes include certified organic ingredients Tea Tree, Aloe Vera and Lavender.
Both products aim to make their packaging contents transparent and easy to understand, refusing to use the usual baddies of SLS, SLES, Alcohol, Lanolin, Phthalates, MIT, Parabens, Triclosan, Propylene glycol, Petro Chemicals, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoates or Soap.
Whilst they are a little more pricey than bog standard supermarket brands, you do tend to get what you pay for.
The fresh non-synthetic smelling wipes can be used on messy little hands, face and bodies, as well as cleaning sensitive little baby bottoms.
