New Bristol charity Bluebell Nurses short listed for cash prize
A new Bristol based charity has been short listed as a finalist in a nationwide competition to get much needed funding for their cause.
Bluebell Nurses has recently been registered as a charity by Ruth Jackson and Hazel Rolston, who are aiming to fund specialist community nurses to support mothers and families affected by post-natal and ante-natal depression.
Now the charity is in with a chance of moving closer to their goal after becoming a finalist for the Avon Cosmetics and Glamour Magazine Hello Tomorrow Awards, which funds ideas that change women’s lives.
Should the charity win they could receive £10,000 for their cause.
The voting is open from today and votes can be cast until the 12 August 2010.
