New FA and SSE Football Clubs launch for Girls Aged 5 – 11 Years of Age

A series of football clubs have launched across England, to encourage girls to become involved in the sport.

The Football Association and SSE have teamed up to launch SSE Wildcats clubs in 200 locations for girls aged between 5 and 11 years of age.

The weekly clubs will run from spring and through the summer as part of the FA’s Gameplan for Growth, which aims to double the number of girls in sport by 2020.
