New guide for premature babies
Parents with premature babies are to benefit from a new guide when they leave hospital.
Milton, are to sponsor the guide which will be an integral part of the new ‘going home’ packs.
Currently.
All new parents are given baby packs in the maternity ward, but the new packs coordinated by special care baby charity Bliss, will provide suitable vouchers for baby products and helpful information to make the transition from hospital to home as smooth as possible.
Milton are well known for their baby hygiene products, and have been a brand synonymous with sterilisation for generations.
Milton Marketing Manager, Suzanne Potter said: “It is great that there is so much support out there for new mums but for some parents who have had a baby who has arrived early or who is particularly small, the experience of taking their baby home can be completely different.
“Premature babies tend to be more vulnerable to infections due to their under-developed immune system and need more protection than ever against harmful germs. By supporting Bliss, Milton are passing on more than 60 years of experience to help parents protect their babies from germs, and we are delighted to be supporting the Going Home Guide.”
Partnership Manager for Bliss, Simon Crowson, said: “We are delighted that Milton is supporting the new Going Home Guide, helping us to help parents of premature babies. Milton’s expertise in protecting babies fits well with Bliss, and we’re excited to be launching the new packs with their help.”
