Nominations open for your family’s Football Mum of the Year

The hunt is on for the 2010 Football Mum of the Year with families being urged to enter their mum for the national title.

A poll of mums by Littlewoods.com discovered that two in five mums are actually looking forward to the footballing summer as a way of spending time with their family.

Now the mums who make the effort of making sure their own children enjoy football be it running a taxi service to matches, making financial sacrifices or simply being the kit washer could be rewarded with the special title.

To nominate mum, visit www.littlewoods.com/footballmum and explain no more than 50 words why they deserve to be awarded the title.

The winning mum will receive 1,000 cash and 1,000 to spend online at Littlewoods.com from HD TV’s, barbecues, beer fridges to sports kits and patriotic fashion fixes.

The closing date for entry is Wednesday 16 June 2010.
