Parents don't want freeloading family on their holidays

Parents of twenty somethings should beware. A study from sunshine.co.uk reveals that one in four young adults who have not been on holiday with their parents for years are now hoping to blag a free week away with mum or dad due to the recession.

Despite 76 per cent of 18-30 year olds preferring a holiday with their friends or other half, 26 per cent confessed that to go away with their parents who were likely to pick up the tabs would be a better financial option.

Free loaders should also beware. Only 34 per cent of parents with kids aged 18 and over would like their adult children to come with them and 88 per cent won’t be happy at picking up the extra expense.
