Peter's Friends to create magic in Southville

Four evenings of mind-melting magic will be happening in Southville, when contemporary magician Peter Clifford visits the Tobacco Factory theatre.
Local Bristol boy Peter, grew up in Midsomer Norton and went on the hone his magic skills at drama school with comedy favourite Steve Coogan. With a pedigree in magic, Peter was also part of the original creative team for Derren Brown’s TV series and first live show.
Mind reading, street performers, pickpocketing and card sharks are all promising to bamboozle the audience.
Tobacco Factory Theatre Director, Ali Robertson said, “Peter’s close-up magic is absolutely astounding and his contacts within the magic industry are unparalleled. I’m thrilled that he has agreed to perform at the Tobacco Factory and I can’t wait to see the shows.”
The first show will see Peter share the stage with Gold Star Member of the Inner Magic Circle and winner of the International Close-Up Magic competition, Peter Wardell.
Peter Clifford said “I love the weightless sense of wonder we feel as those things we are certain of are shown to be surprisingly and utterly wrong…. It is a feeling that I will bring to the Tobacco Factory with this series of shows.”
