Plenty of Love to Go Round by Emma Chichester Clark – Review

Emma Chichester Clark’s brilliant illustrations and picture story books are as instantly recognisable to her as Charlie and Lola is to Lauren Child.

This heart warming tale about a dog who feels usurped by the arrival of a new pet cat is great as a standalone bed time story. Or, even better, it’s perfect to buy for a toddler who has a new baby sibling on the way.

Plum does not want Binky around. He is the Special One. Binky gets in the way and everybody loves him more. Or do they? for Plum eventually learns that there is plenty of love for both of them.

Love, love, love this book.
