Police Ask Public to Identify Man in Connection with a Serious Sexual Assault in St Judes Bristol

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify after a serious sexual assault took place in St Judes this month.

Two men approached a woman in her 20s on Wade Street in the early hours of Wednesday 01 November 2017. One of them pulled her off the main road and into one of the small side streets to sexually assault her .

The public are being asked to help identify the man from one of the grainiest CCTV images possible on a main road with high transient footfall.

Police say the victim is being supported and given access to help she needs.

Given the amount of antisocial behaviour, fights and incidents that occur in St Judes on a daily basis, it’s time to improve the CCTV coverage so that victims don’t have to rely on poor images such as this one.
