People have been going bananas across the UK with the opening of Poundworld Plus stores. What are these places? They’re basically Poundworld but more expensive. We’ve recently been blessed with one of these shops in the Galleries Bristol. It has moved into the unit that was once Woolworths and has been an unending string of budget similarities ever since.

If you enjoy a rummage around cheap tat but are finding the current pound shops now a little dull, then Poundworld Plus is a whole new experience.

The best time to visit these shops is bang on 9am while the rest of the world is still sleeping. You will find the check-outs move quickly with fewer queued baskets brimming with Haribo, dodgy homeware and other random delights.
