Electrical accidents result in 70 deaths and 1.2 million injuries every year in UK homes.

The Electrical Safety Council (ESC) is aiming to cut this figure with their newly launched safety films urging people to stay safe with an RCD device.

These real life stories have been released to coincide with the start of the gardening season, telling about the dangers of electricity.

An RCD is designed to prevent people from getting a fatal electric shock and provide some protection against electrical fires.
