Retro toys make a comeback

It seems nostalgia is just as good as we thought it was.

Traditional toys are starting to increase in popularity over trendy gadgets.

Online gift retailer PrezzyBox.com, logged the most searched for toys on their website and found children ditching the games consoles for retro toys.

Conducting further research to confirm the shift backwards, PrezzyBox customers revealed that Refreshers and Wham! Bars are still lusted after by today’s adults and 48 per cent wanting to see the return of Zapp! Ice lollies.
The top ten toys searched for on the PrezzyBox website were:

1.    Stylophone
2.    Ladybird Books
3.    Retro Arcade Games
4.    Connect 4
5.    Rocking Horses
6.    Game Boys
7.    Mix-Tapes
8.    Beano Comics
9.    Etch-A-Sketch
10. Roy of the Rovers Comics

MD of www.Prezzybox.com,  Zak Edwards said:“It’s very exciting that the older toys are coming back in fashion, especially as I remember spending hours trying to perfect my Yo-Yo skills myself. We have noticed a trend for more nostalgic toys which is why we stock plenty of retro toys and games amongst other, more traditional, products.
