Review: Storytime Sounds App

There are few apps that at Chopsy Baby we like. There’s rather a lot of relying too heavily on iCan’tBeBothereds to entertain children these days. And whereas some story apps can serve a purpose, all too often they end up replacing what as parents we should be doing ourselves.

But as an aid to bedtime stories, especially for parents and children who like to create their own stories, the free Storytime Sounds app from notonthehighstreet.com is ideal.

It contains a nice collection of suitable sound effects for any stories set in space, with pirates, fairy tales ands monsters.

The version of the app we downloaded, appears to have some issues. The sounds work perfectly, but the images, don’t meaning you have to use an educated guess to find you way through the navigation system.

But for a free app, this is excellent.
