Review: The Little Me Organics Pamper Me and Sweet Dreams gift set

For the mum-to-be

Relaxing in the bath, complete with candle, luxury bath soak and finishing off with a rich tummy cream to combat those potential stretch marks, The Little Me Organics Pamper Me gift set should be handed out by midwives as standard practise.

Made with a blend of rose hip oil, organic vanilla and grapefruit, to inhale the aroma once the lid is off demands a relaxed ahhhhh! reaction.

Eight months pregnant Hayley Southey is about to have her second baby. She eagerly tested out the Little Me Organics Pamper Me gift set for two weeks.

Hayley says: “No one tells you how hard being pregnant whilst already having a toddler is. It is hard. Very hard. This Pamper Me gift set is my time, in the bath, on my own with the door locked. I love vanilla and make sure I smother myself very liberally with all of this. I close my eyes, inhale vanilla and that is what gives me the strength to count to ten. Thank you Little Me Organics.”

For the new mum and baby

The Little Me Organics Sweet Dreams gift set has been designed to be soothing, right down to the purple packaging and friendly bath duck.

The set contains Little Me bath milk, body cream and a hair and body wash. To complete the set a handy soft flannel and entertaining mini bath duck.

The Sweet Dreams set is a perfect aid for both mother and baby to relax and unwind during those tense early weeks.

The soothing scent of lavender has long been used to encourage sleep. The three products in this set have fused organic lavender with Dill, making it an ideal product to incorporate as part of the baby’s bath time to bed routine.

Ebony Jones tested out the Sweet Dreams gift set with her three-week-old baby Kai.

Ebony says: “I love lavender and use lots of products with the scent. I find it really relaxing and use it when I struggle to sleep at night. I was really pleased to try out this gift set with Kai and enjoyed doing so. He is my first baby and though I vowed not to use any bath products with him at all, because he has reflux he reeks of sick and needs quite frequent baths. I tend to do this last thing at night with him hoping it will encourage a bedtime routine. He loves his baths and the duck adds to his fun. We both use the bath milk and I use sparing amounts of the hair and body wash to freshen him up. I have also been using the really gentle body cream on myself and a bit on him as his skin is going through a dry flaky time.”

Available from Boots only
£15
Both gift sets – paraben and SLS free – will be ideal for Christmas, a baby shower party or the red-faced stressed out pregnant woman in your life fighting someone in the bread aisle for the last packet of crumpets.
