Rising cost of disposable nappies prompts parents to consider reusables

The rising cost of nappies is forcing 26 per cent of parents to consider using reusable nappies instead of disposable.

More than 1,700 parents with children still in nappies were questioned by BabyChild.org.uk.

Saving money was the reason that 59 per cent were considering the change to reusables, followed by 18 per cent concerned about the environment and 13 per cent worried about their baby’s skin condition.

Of those currently using reusable nappies, 52 per cent admitted they occasionally used disposables too.
