Salty Dogs by Matty Long – Review

Matty Long books are always great fun. They have a solid storyline and are full of busy illustrations that both enhance the story and provide plenty of extra exploration, humour and talking opportunities.

The illustrations are so much fun, a meeting of What-a-Mess, Cassius Marcellus Coolidge and well, the ingenuity of Matty Long.

The Salty Dog pirates are off on a treasure hunt, when they meet they sail into the Sea Monkeys. Who will win and what exactly is the treasure they are fighting over?
