Secret fears of pregnant mothers revealed – Yes ladies, worrying about the labour poo is normal
Having a baby prompts many fears and worries in mothers-to-be, no matter if it is their first or even third child.
But whilst worrying about being induced, having an epidural, how much it’s all going to hurt are concerns well publicised, there are other secret fears pregnant women harbour.
A study by BabyChild.org, has hit the nail on the head when it comes to revealing what really worries pregnant women.
The baby product review website asked more than 1000 mums-to-be which their biggest concern was – excluding medical complications – when it came to giving birth.
Whilst the biggest response was as expected the pain of labour at 36 per cent, 24 per cent were more concerned about doing the poo whilst giving birth.
Another common fear amongst women was finding their baby ugly – 9 per cent, with 4 per cent worried about the effect pushing a strapping baby out would have on their genitalia.
