Sensory Activities – Sensory Story Snow Storm

Sensory activities don’t all have to be goop, slime and mess. In fact, some people with sensory processing difficulties cannot stand the texture of slime or play dough. This snow storm scene is a way of making a mess with dry textures.

For this story we used:

Handmade Puppet People
Star Glitter
Spray Snow
UV Lighting
Sensory Lighting
Air Source

We made different snow from a light smattering of shiny glitter to full on blizzard. This is such an adaptable way of creating small world play and looks great in darkened rooms.
