Space Hop reading adventure to keep youngsters reading this summer

Children in Bristol are being invited to join in with a summer reading adventure.

Space Hop, is being organised by libraries across the city, aiming to keep youngsters reading through the long summer break.

Readers will be able to join the crew of the Ex Libris, whose mission it it to set up the first library on the moon.

Stickers will be awarded for each book borrowed and read, with those who get past the ‘Blast Off’ and complete both the ‘Space Chase’ and ‘Lunar Landing’  qualifying for a certificate, a medal, a free DVD hire and entry into a prize draw.

Youngsters will be able to pick up a Space Hop folder from their local library from Monday 12 July.
