Spelling challenge launched in aid of deaf children

Schoolchildren are being urged to take part in a special challenge to improve their spelling and learn about sign language.

The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) are holding a Fingerspellathon for UK schools to sign up to.
The event will take place in October and will help raise funds for the charity to continue supporting deaf children.
