Splashlings Medical Clinic and 12 Character Mermaid & Friends Set Review

Have you heard of Splashlings? We hadn’t but were pleasantly surprised when we investigated some of the ocean themed toys sets.

With a big following in the US, Splashings recently launched in the UK market and are likely to be a huge hit.

Children can collect the tiny sea pets, mermaids and create friendly underwater worlds with the fun characters.

To go with the toys, there are series of YouTube webisodes on the Splashlings website to accompany the toy. This makes it an ideal all-round toy package for youngsters who are so focused on the video sharing platform these days.

We looked at the Splashlings Medical Clinic play set and Wave One 12 Splashlings Mermaid and Friends set.

Though initially, it looks like it presents somewhere in the cheap plastic tat category, I was Surprised how much joy my six year old daughter got from playing with it. The age recommendation on the box is five years upwards. I would go so far as to say children from four years upwards would enjoy this toy. However, the toys are very small and not suitable for any age child who may put them in their mouths.
