Stay at home mums spending more time online than with kids

The stay-at-home mother (SAHM) may not be quite as perfect as you think.

Despite staying home with the children instead of returning to work, four in five SAHM actually spend more time on the internet than doing housework and 23 per cent admit to spending more time online than with their children.

The research by WinMonkey.co.uk, found that the popularity of chat forum, social networking and gaming sites are contributing to a decline in the amount of time mums spend with their children.
