Summer event to raise funds for Hope’s Place and the Bristol Bluebell Nurses
An event to raise awareness and funds for women suffering from post-natal depression and other pregnancy concerns will be taking place in Bristol next month.
A day-long event including stalls, cakes, children’s entertainment and a book stall will be held at the Tart Cafe in Bishopston on Monday 7 June 2010.
There will also be information on support and services available for families in the Bristol area affected by depression and representatives will be on hand to offer advice.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to two Bristol charities, Hope’s Place and Bluebell Nurses.
The Bluebell Nurse project raises funds for specialist nurses to support mums and families affect by pregnancy related depression.
Hope’s Place provides free counselling and listening for mothers and families in Bristol.
The June event will be building on the success of the Bluebell Day held last summer in Bristol.
Entrance cost £10 on the day to include all refreshments.
Children are admitted for free
