It’s January. Christmas has been cleaned away. Our homes are devoid of the colourful shiny things we adorned them with in December and it’s back to the grindstone.

You have to spare a thought for those who were born in January. The thoughtless act of selfishness committed by parents in the May months results in some children having a doom and gloom birthday.

No one wants to think about cards and presents so quickly again. Joviality officially finishes with the New Years Eve hang over.
