The bank of mum and dad takes out loans from the children

Parents requesting that their children pay back any cash loaned to them should take a good hard look at their own ‘borrowing’ habits.

Research from MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, finds that a staggering 48 per cent of parents borrow money from their own children with 81 per cent not paying it back.

According to the findings, dads are the worst for borrowing money with 57 per cent of them admitting to this compared to 39 per cent of mothers.

Just 17 per cent said they would never borrow money off of their children.
