The Galleries Taped Off On Union Street

The Galleries in Bristol continues its ongoing decline. One side of the building has been taped off for a few weeks.

The Union Street side of the building, which features a glass canopy, has been cordoned off – though the side access to Waterstones remains open.

The building’s future is somewhat uncertain. Though plans to entirely redevelop the site are in the pipeline, the shopping centre looks set to survive yet another Christmas.

The canopy cordon joins the bucket army which fills the inside of the shopping centre whenever it rains.
