The Opera Project return to the Tobacco Factory with Rigoletto

The fantastic Opera Project triumphantly returns to the Tobacco Factory, this time with Rigoletto.

In the theatre’s intimate space, the audience are directly immersed in the dark, dramatic world of Verdi’s creation; its storyline packed full of corruption, multiple victims and the ultimate tragic death of Rigoletto’s daughter.

Directed by Richard Studer with musical direction by Jonathan Lyness, the Opera Project successfully strips opera of any modern day pomposity.

Verdi’s beautiful score is performed by a chamber orchestra and is sung in English.
