Hello…

September 2013 is sponsored by Dog Poo Hopscotch on the school run

Hello and what the hell is going on here? Well Chopsy Baby was launched in November 2008 and celebrates its fifth birthday this year. During the last couple of months, it has been a little quiet for very good reason. The website is expanding to move into its own retail space in Bristol. However, this has taken a longer amount of time than anticipated due to the chain of shops that have to move in front of us.

So as dates change and move and boxes are packed and semi-unpacked again, we will hopefully be up and fully running in time to get the balloons and banners out. If not, we will probably be decorating the storage centre instead.

But, there will be some huge positive changes happening when things go according to the original Plan A.  The website will be able to reach even more families we will be able to run promotional product testing days and all sorts of fun things.

What You Need To Know…

This September, we would like to provide some tips on  how drop children off at the school gate.

Key Points To Remember:

Don’t just stop at the school gate. No! Many schools have entrances that are possible to drive right through. If you are really lucky, you may even be able to park right outside your child’s classroom.

If you find you really must park outside the school, look for the zig-zags. These are put here to make sure there is always a parking space available to you at 8.55am.

Just what are those pedestrians doing on the pavement? But remember to beep your horn before mounting the pavement. Think about the reams of paperwork you will have to fill out should you knock one of those child things down.

No car is too big. In fact, do check your local car show room to see if there are any special offers on tanks this month. If you have no luck, check out this website. There will certainly be something on there for you: www.tanksforsale.co.uk

If you find yourself unable to park in the aforementioned areas, then don’t forget you can still double park. That’s just a little bit like musical cars first thing.

Hold on a minute! There are all those local residents’ drives to fill up. Panic over.

And finally, to make sure you got the school run just right, do Google I Parked Like A … It’s a safe bet that you feature on a website somewhere.
