Three New Stores For Broadmead – Including “Mega Greggs”

Three new shopping additions to Broadmead this November

Three new stores have popped up in Broadmead, Bristol, at a time when the area desperately needs something a bit new.

It’s being dubbed the “Mega Greggs” by people working and living in town. Next to Sparks on Broadmead, the hoarding has come down on a vacant former mobile phone shop revealing it to be a giant branch of the popular Greggs bakery chain. The branch is almost opposite one already in existence on the ground floor of The Galleries. Which also has a second one on the top floor.

People into comic books, table top games and nerd culture, will rejoice at a big move for Excelsior! The independent shop has been located on Bond Street for some years. It’s now in a shiny new store on Merchant Street in the heart of Broadmead.

Technically this one is in Cabot Circus, but popping up over Christmas is Shop Bristol. The co-production between PRIOR, Visit Bristol and Cabot Circus sees a good range of locally-made Bristol themed gifts. You can find it next to the Apple Store on Philadelphia Street.
