Toddler census finds nutritional needs still not being met

A census of UK toddlers aged 1-3 years of age, finds youngsters are not short of toys, entertainment and designer clothes. But, nutritional needs are not being adequately met.  The top favourite meals of  one to three year olds surveyed for growingupmilkinfo.com did include spaghetti bolognaise, chicken and shepherd’s pie but also Chinese takeaway, McDonald’s, chips and pizza.

A total of 60 per cent of toddlers have been to a fast food restaurant,  with 86 per cent eating chips, 80 per cent pizza and 68 per cent chicken nuggets.
