Top attraction celebrates birthday in style
Family favourite Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire, celebrates its 60th Anniversary in style this month by winning the Best UK Children’s Attraction Award at the Group Leisure Magazine awards.
Managing Director, Colin Bryan said: “We have worked very hard to offer a wide variety of attractions at Drayton Manor Park including Thomas Land so we are extremely pleased to win the award of Best UK Children’s Attraction.
“Not only are we winning industry honours but last season we saw record numbers of visitors come to the Park – so people are really voting with their feet.”
The award was presented by actress Tina Hobley and Jilly Greed from Holiday on Ice, which sponsored the category.
The theme park will celebrates its birthday with a spectacular fireworks display and lightshow.
The display will be held on 31st October and 1st November starting at 7.00pm, last admission to the park is 6.00pm with selected rides open until 9.00pm.
