Bristol mother launches Smart Brailler crowdfunding campaign

A Bristol mother has launched a Crowdfunding campaign to ensure that all blind or visually impaired people in England are able to access a specialist piece of equipment in their local area.

Kristy Hooper is aiming to have a Smart Brailler in every local library by 2020.

The device helps children who are blind or visually impaired to communicate and learn Braille and allow sighted parents to help their children with homework.

A smart Brailler costs around £1800  and Kristy is hoping to raise the money through charitable events and Crowdfunding.
