Chopsy Baby is reviewing…Vosene Kids Afterswim Hair and Body Wash

With term-time swimming lessons scheduled to start up again, a simple all in one post swim body wash is destined to do away with the lingering stink and feel of chlorine on the skin.

Vosene Kids has developed a new Afterswim Hair and Body Wash, to combat the drying effect and possible skin irritations that chlorine can have on children’s delicate hair and body.

The product has been formulated to cleanse and condition the hair and skin, whilst gently removing chlorine, salt and other impurities that can be picked up from the pool or beach.

The Afterswim’s fragrance is a gentle melon and it also contains  Aromaguard™ technology to neutralise the smell of chlorine.

The Afterswim Hair and Body Wash is also free from soap, SLS, SLES and parabens.

Samantha says: “I go swimming very regularly with my troop. I have a ten, a seven and a three-year-old. It gets a bit frantic when we all come out into the changing room. We do have a shower and have taken a various assortment of bottles including shower gel and shampoo and conditioner.

“We ditched all of our products for a week or so, relying on the Vosene Kids Afterswim instead. What I find frustrating the most about after swim showers is that because my hair is very thick, the chlorine from the pool makes it really matted and difficult to get the smell out.

“I was surprised the Afterswim coped so well with my hair. And you can wash from top to toe with one product rather than several. The melon fragrance is very strong initially but soon wears down to a pleasing scent.

“Getting the four of us showered was quicker and easy, just having to pass one container down the line rather than several bottles being dropped everywhere. I think I will certainly get this for all our swimming bags.

“We haven’t had the weather to go to the beach recently, but I was impressed this product was also suitable for use after swimming in the sea. Will be great to take on holiday with us.”
