Bristol Autism Team Online Courses Managing Anxiety and Preparing for Adulthood booking now
Bristol Autism Team are running a series of online courses ahead of the school summer holidays.
Managing Anxiety is a four-day course to discuss ways to help children struggling with anxiety. It’s for parents with children and young people aged between 8 and 18 years of age.
The course takes place on Zoom on Wednesday 09,16, 23, 30 June from 10am – 1pm.
Preparing for Adulthood is a two-day course taking place on Zoom on Wednesday 07 and 14 July from 10am – 2pm – with a break from lunch 12.30pm – 1pm. It’s for parents of young people and adults aged 16-25 years of age.
This course will look at things parents need to know in preparation for adult life, including: Education, college and university, employment, housing, getting social support, free activities available in Bristol, benefits – PIP, ESA, Universal Credit, and financial planning – wills and trusts.
