Bristol Crime Statistics on New Crime Level Website
A new online tool available from the Good Move website, allows you to check out the levels of crime for your city.
Whilst you can get a more detailed breakdown on the Police Map website, Good Move collates the information in a quick, accessible way, giving a city wide impression.
According to Good Move, crime in the UK rose by 9 per cent during 2017, with the most reported crime across the country being anti-social behaviour related incidents.
Bristol came out fairly well in the top statistics, only making second place for public order.
The areas with the most crime in 2017 were found to be:
London- 1,024,717
Birmingham- 122,234
Manchester – 116,025
Leeds – 108,023
Sheffield – 83,904
Bradford – 78,415
The Bristol crime statistics according to Good Move are:
Violent/Sexual Crimes: 14,223
Weapon Posession: 216
Vehicle Crime: 5320
Shoplifting: 4238
Public Order: 6121
Personal Theft: 599
Robbery: 585
Bicycle Theft: 1544
Drug Crime: 862
Anti-Social Behaviour: 13,948
Criminal Damage: 5046
