The Gin Palace at Palace Hotel in Old Market Closes This Weekend

Iconic Bristol gay bar The Gin Palace, will be closing its doors for the final time this weekend after its owners announced its closure last weekend.

The iconic Palace Hotel situated in Old Market, which has become well known over the years for being the heart of the Bristol Gay scene.

The Gin Palace, set in a Grade II listed building, has been the home of one of Bristol’s most well-known LGBT+ venues and plays host to cabarets, karaoke and entertainment. It was particularly well known for their Drag Queen entertainment.

For their final weekend, they will be hosting Kara Van Park on Friday and Mary Golds on Saturday.
