Bristol Exclusion Statistics for 2021/22 Autumn Term
Some families in the city have asked us for a breakdown of the Bristol exclusion statistics for the Autumn term 2021/22, which were recently released by the Department for Education. Whilst we would usually do an an analysis of these, we’re going to wait until we have the whole of the academic year’s statistics.
In the meantime, these are the Bristol numbers for Autumn 2021/22 term compared to the same time in the previous academic year as a reference.
We’ve included all exclusions as well as those broken down into gender, Send provision status, Free School Meals and ethnicity. We’ve also included exclusion statistics for Bristol schools since 2017/18,
