Bristol Fire Little Ann Street in St Jude’s Closes to Building Fire

Shortly after 6pm this evening, Little Ann Street in St Jude’s, filled with fire engines as an electrical fire broke out on the top floor of the Old Malt House.

The large former industrial building is now home to popular venue The Jam Jar, as well as individual creative studios and a dance school.

Smoke billowed from the building as six fire engines and police arrived in quick succession. The road was cordoned off as far back as Little Ann Street pub The Swan with Two Necks, with access also further blocked to the Wade Street junction by emergency service vehicles.

The road remained closed until after 8pm.
