Childcare voucher scheme an alternative to Working Tax Credits
Parents can be put off returning to work for many reasons, but the yearly cost of childcare should not be one of them, says the Imagine Co-operative childcare voucher scheme.
The vouchers are employer supported benefit, often used instead of the childcare element of Working Tax Credit.
The Government allows working parents Income Tax and National Insurance exemptions of up to £243 per month which can be used to pay for Ofsted registered childcare for children up to the age of 16, though conditions will apply.
