Chopsy Baby is Reviewing Steven Appleby’s Guide to Life – The Collected Loomus Cartoons

The Loomus cartoon strip by Steven Appleby, was commissioned by the Guardian in 2005 to become a feature in their newly redesigned newspaper.

This book features around 200 Loomus strips and other snapshots of life many of us can recognise and chuckle over.

At the end of the book, Steven goes into details about his background and the process he goes through to create a cartoon strip.

It’s a perfect book for parents. After having children, there is a stage of life when you don’t get time to read a book. Approximately the first seven years. These kinds of books are perfect for this stage. You can pick them up and put them down, have a laugh or even commiserate when you find yourself turning the pages of your own life.
