Design your own spooky ice cream competition

Supermarket brand Sainsbury’s have come up with one of the more interesting competitions currently open to children.

The national competition is urging children aged between 7 – 14 years of age to design a new flavour of spooky ice-cream, with the winning recipe to be sold at stores for Halloween.

To enter, children must email the word ‘IScream’ to i.scream@sainsburys.co.uk – and they will receive an entry form to complete.

Ideas must be submitted by 23:59pm on Sunday 15 May 2011 and the winner will be announced in the summer.

Sainsbury’s judging panel will choose one frightening flavour from the 10 finalists. The finalists will receive an all-expenses paid trip to an event in London, where the winner – decided by the judging panel – will be announced.

Ideas must be original and copyright in each entry is transferred to Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd.
