Most parents keen to reuse and recycle children’s clothes and toys
Most parents are keen to recycle and reuse their children’s toys and clothes once they have finished making use of them.
In a survey of more than 1,200 parents of children aged seven and under, 67 per cent said they reused or passed items on.
Of these parents, 89 per cent either passed their children’s clothing on to other parents, donated them to charity, or used them for their own younger children.
But not everyone wanted to save or make money by being savvy with belongings.
The poll by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, found that of those who didn’t recycle, a whopping 31 per cent simply couldn’t be bothered and 24 per cent had never even thought to do it.
