Family Feuds and How to Avoid Them

Holidays can be stressful times, and with so much to do we found our Butlins trip extremely tiring. To make sure you don’t end up falling out check out our holiday camp tips:

Agree the activities you can’t live without doing. Having fun can be stressful, and you may find yourself under pressure to have as much of it as possible.

Have rules about how much to allocate to extra paid activities or arcade machines if you want or need to do them.

Do split up into groups to get some space.

If you are self-catering hire a DVD whilst cooking to calm the kids down.

Make sure you pack some toys for the children to play with on the journey and for when you are busy in the apartment.

Don’t feel bad about your children’s lack of routine, missed bedtimes or late nights. It’s for a few days.

Compromise and split into groups if activities clash.

Try to have some adult time later in the evenings after the children have gone to bed.

Butlins also have an OFSTED registered nursery for ages 3 months – 8 years if you find you need an hours break.
