How to Make a Fairy Garden or Indoor Garden for Children

Flats without gardens or outdoor spaces can be pretty dull. We’ve had a go at creating some Fairy Gardens to liven up living space with green areas and bring the outdoors inside.

What do you need to make a Fairy Garden?
It really couldn’t be easier. With our zero knowledge and expertise in horticulture, we simply took some transparent containers, interesting stones, aquarium gravel, soil and grass seed and put it together within five minutes. Add water – but not too much because it’s easier to drown indoor grass – and within five hot summer days we had Fairy Gardens for small world play.
