How to… Make some cheep Easter crafts

These two Easter decorations are really quick, simple craft decorations you can do with your child, developing their coordination, imagination and resourcefulness. Age two plus

Easter decoration one

1. Find some random card, yellow would be good though white can be painted.

2. Cut one piece of card in to a rough egg shape.

3. Cut in half with a jagged line.

4. Cut out the shape of a chick.

5. Connect all three together with a split pin so the egg opens and reveals the chick.

6. Decorate.

7. Job done.

Easter decoration two

1. Find some random card and cut out a chick shape.

2. Find some yellow paper, we used crepe paper.

3. Cover card in glue and tear up paper into small pieces.

4. Put paper on to card.

5. Make eyes and beak with whatever you have lying around.

6. Job done.
