InfaCare Baby Bath Night Time – Review
Our Verdict: An ideal bubble bath for end of day calming down
Our Rating: 8/10
As with most issues when it comes to parenting, there are differing opinions on when, how often and what to use during a baby’s bath time.
Even those parents who barely show their baby a drop of water will need to clean them up once in a while.
InfaCare Baby Bath is an ideal addition to bath water and not just for babies.
The relaxing lavender fragrance and gentle bubbling foam is perfect for toddlers and older children who sometimes need an extra way of calming down before sleep.
InfaCare has come up with a formula they believe to promote natural levels of acidity and alkalinity in skin and hair.
It’s been proving popular with parents whose children have allergies and a 70 per cent of mums trying the product who thought it was ideal.
But what’s the reality? It doesn’t contain Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, but it does contain sodium Laureth sulphate. This helps products to foam, emulsify and remove dirt and grease. Of course, dirty children are never going to get clean by bathing in the tears of angels so sometimes a few SLSs are needed to remove the mud, sweat, food, grime and that lingering smell of childcare.
Chopsy Baby’s Jen Smith says: “We really liked this product. It’s a great way to add some gentle bubbly fun at bath time. But best of all it permeated the rooms with that calming lavender fragrance it has.
“We tried this product out with three different children, two of which have eczema and it didn’t cause any problems for either of them. What it really did help with was providing a calming relaxing bath time that helped them settle for bed in the evenings and also prepare them for the day ahead in the mornings.
“Young babies really don’t need bathing every single night but for a fun splash session or a desperate attempt to get a little one to sleep this is ideal.”
